Mark
Dahm, a veteran
of the Midwest music scene, originally formed
search for george in 1994 as a cover band with his sister, Mary, and a
few friends. Pendery, the band’s manager, joined the lineup
on
keyboards, and the band followed its 1996 debut CD with
1999’s
“A Little Bit Misunderstood.” In 2001, search for
george
began work on their third record, “3minute Pop
Song.”
Recorded over a two-week period at Two Fish Studios in Mankato, Minn.
and mastered by George Marino at Sterling Sound, “3minute Pop
Song” was an instant hit, landing at #20 on the CMJ (College
Music Journal) Top 200 ADDS chart (10-29-01) just two weeks after its
release.
Dahm and Pendery continue to write and record original songs as search for george. |
